I went into BIOS and sure enough, it recognizes the Primary Master as a WDC. This is odd, however, because after clicking c-step, the setup installed a bunch of stuff (on the HDD.) so why wouldn't it recognize it later on? After clicking this, I got to the same point where it couldnt find a hard drive to load on.
I did c-step, then got to the 'install xp' screen. Now, before I even clicked on 'install xp', I was prompted to select something like 'c-step' or 'other' when it asked what kind of setup I wanted to do. I checked out my setup, realized that I had the eide cable backwards, and redid all of this. Once I click install, it says that it cant find any hard drive disk to install on. So now it tests my hardware for support, then gets to the screen that you select 'Install xp' or 'repair xp'.
Update: After letting my computer sit for a while at the No Emulation screen, it proceeded to go through with the windows installation.
